FEDERATION PURSUIT SHIP

From the BBC TV series created by Terry Nation - ‘BLAKE’S 7’

In the TV series, the Federation are an oppressive militaristic organisation. ROJ BLAKE makes stand against the Federation when he and some other convicts discover a derelict alien spaceship, which they commandeer and name it the Liberator. The Federation Pursuit ships were the front line of attack in the war Blake.

The ships are a great design, courtesy of the show’s first VFX Designer Ian Scoones.

Matchbox had their two or three colour kit gimmick – for something like this I imagine they could have had two shades of orange, or rust and possibly grey or black for things like the weapons and scanners and maybe some other details.

At 1/700 the kit would be approx. 7 inches long. Half the size of the liberator.
