AURORA AIRSHIP

This is an original design for a personal film project. An adventure film set in the early 1900s in the tradition of Jules Verne and Edgar Rice Burroughs.

TheAurora is ahead of its time and incorporates two large dirigible pods for elevation. The ships two ‘air thruster’ engines are electrically powered. The ship has the ability to fly to high altitudes and attract lightning, converting and containing the potent electrical energy in large battery cells. The ship’s name is prompted by the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis.
