‘Joe 90’ was in many a more down to earth show than its predecessors, with an emphasis on character based action. Using his unique invention - the BIG RAT - Professor MacLaine is able to record an individual’s brain pattern and transfer it to his son Joe giving him the skill and expertise of that person. Joe was the one in the heart of the action. Sam’s saloon was seen regularly in the show, but t did not feature any special accessories or weaponry and was a means to get from one place to another.
