Dogfight Double - Glastron GT-150 and Glastron Carlton CV21
Live and Let Die - made in 1973 - is the first James Bond film starring Roger Moore and features an elaborate and exciting speedboat chase between 007 and the Mr Big/Kananga gang through the Louisiana back-waters. The action and stunt work in the sequence is out of this world. It is one of the greatest action sequences ever put on film. The boats jump over roads and skim across land masses.
This kit would include two 1/32nd scale speedboat kits - the Glastron GT-150 driven by Bond, and the Glastron-Carlton CV21, driven by Adam - one of Dr Kananga’s henchmen. 1/32nd was Airfix’s scale of choice for their model cars. An appropriate, if unusual, ‘Dogfight Double’.
Bond’s GT-150 could be in white plastic, and the CV21 in black.
