JANET ELLIS - MBE

Probably best known for presenting the long running Childfens magazine programme BLUE PETER from 1983 to 1987 - most notably alongside Simon Groom and Peter Duncan. The show is still running over 50 yaers since it debuted. Janet also presented the quirky children’s TV Show ‘JIGSAW’ alongsing Adrian Hedley, Jig The ‘O’ Men and Nosey Bonk. She is an actress and has appeared in the classic drama series ‘The Sweeney’ and teh sci-fi favourite ‘Doctor Who’. She wrote her fisrt novel ‘The Butcher’s Hook’ i n2016.
