SUPER - 8 CAMERA

This graphic represents the family Super 8 'Home Movie' camera from the mid 1970s.

As a teenager this camera - and others like it - were pressganged into service to make short films films.

The camera had no sound and utilised Super 8 film cartridges containg only 50 feet - 3 minutes of film. (running at 18 frames per second).
