Thunderbird 5 is part of the International Rescue organisation and is the orbiting space station which is in a constant state of readiness to receive and act quickly on calls for help. Space Monitor John Tracy shares monthly tours of duty with Alan Tracy.
The massive spacecraft is packed with highly advanced technology for receiving radio transmissions as well as tracking systems to identify the location of the call. There is a docking area for Thunderbird 3.
A kit in 1/288th scale would be 17 inches(42cm) long and Thunderbird 3 in this scale would be 12 inches (30cm) in length. when docked together over 2 feet (60cm) long.
