HYPERION AIRSHIP

From the 1974 Walt Disney productions feature film ‘THE ISLAND AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD’.

I have always loved this design, and the scenes of the airship are done convincingly with matte paintings and miniatures. The ship was designed by Disney legend Peter Elllenshaw. A model kit of this ship would be amazing and in 1/144 scale it would be about 16” (42cm) long!
