DARK STAR from the film ‘DARK STAR’ (1974) directed by JOHN CARPENTER

One of the few Science Fiction films of the 1970s - before ‘STAR WARS’ to take place in outer space. The film follows the title spaceship and is oddball crew as they go about their mission to destroy planets. A low budget black comedy directed by JOHN CARPENTER

The film was written by Dan O’Bannon and I believe he designed the spaceship. the model was built by Greg Jein.
